I have a 94 12v auto 2wd current mods are pump work flowing 750ccs full cut dv 5x14 injectors fass 220 garmon stage 2 trans hy35 charger full guages oil pressure trans temp boost and egts and 4inch tb to 7in stack afe stage 2 intake and few other goodies. I know i need studs and bigger charger where im confused is do i need o rings or just studs and torque em down for the turbo i was thinking a s464 or s466. And i would like to do a can cam can i do without cutting for valve relief? Any input on this matter would be great i read about guys just running studs with orings also i was toold i could go with a thicker head gasket for valve relief is this true. Intended use is a street truck i was told compounds but i feel it would spool to fast and i would spin rather than a big single using the lag to my advantage to get thru 1 2 and lighting in 3rd

I'm not sure how your getting away with a hy35 and all that fuel but I guess that not the point haha well with a cam you can defiantly spool a large charger, full cuts are kind of extreme and heard they are basically useless unless you have compounds or it's a race truck basically. You will for sure need the stiffer afc spring kits to tune it. To fit a cam like a 188/220 which is likely what you want for a large turbo and is what I have and am putting in to spool a single s464. They are supposed to barely fit a totally stock 12 valve but need measuring, depending how much you need taken off your head you can get away with an over sized gasket like a .010 or .020 over if you truck is within normal specs. As for orings, I've heard a stock cummins gaskets with good studs like 625's (expensive but worth the insurance in my mind) they can hold up to 80 psi apparently as long as dp isn't too high. I've personally pushed 50 out of a he351 which likely yielded a dp of close to 70psi. But prongs aren't gonna be negative I don't think if you have the money, only down side I heard is you must retorque more times after initial stud install. If you going with a big single a s464 s466 or s467 will flow tons of air but may be pretty laggy on the larger units and tuning will be key with the full cuts and you may still get really hot before it lights. Compounds are really ideal but not everyone is about that, me for one of them, and can't beat the price of a big single vs 2 turbos.

I appreciate the response im only seeing 650 to 700 egts crusing i mean hell that hy35 is throwin 45 psi on a hard dig iv been taking it easy i figure make it last and i already have stiffer springs and i just bought a s464 today im gonna order 625s studs and go ahead and stud it what kinda gasket should i get copper or mls ? And as for the cam im gonna see how it will drive i dynod today 458hp 1174ftpds im planning on doing a big stick cam a little later on when i upgrade my intercooler i also bought a nitrous and propane kit as well as a snow water meth kit today we will see how everything holds up after studs and the new turbo i didnt think the hy35 would hold for long. Im also gonna rebuild my rear end some dumb *** in a van pulled out in front of me on highway and i forgot to drop the tc switch and locked up brakes the *** end came off the ground and now my spidergears are fucked
