I pull workstock with my 93 i got a dual disk clutch from kennys pulling parts and he swears that the getrag is stronger than an nv4500. i run an s300 and ddp stg 3s with pump work and hang with the new trucks all day long i'd be more worried about your driveline breaking tore a pinion shaft out of the dana 70 so swapped in an 80 and tore the rear shaft out of the transfer case this past weekend but once all the breakages get ironed out they're darn good pullers

Are any of you guys worried about twisting the frame hooked to the sled?

When you pull onto the track you should be prepared to break anything.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

I understand that, but I was wondering if anyone reinforced their frame to keep it from shitting itself, or if that is against the rules?

I have been drag racing since I was 18, have had plenty of breaks and disappointments along the way. Gotta pay to play! I would just rather not sacrifice my 1st gen's frame to a sled if I don't have to!
