Thanks I will try and find and nv4500 to swap in I'd heard of guys doing it, but around here you don't see many 1st gens pulling.. What do u recomend doing to the stock charger??

Thanks I'll look into that and see what the comparison in price would be compared to buying my cousins s300... Thanks for the info I need all the help I can get the 1st gens all new to me!!!!!

For the money spent, skip the 60mm upgrade and find an he351cw. Them are great turbos for our machines!!! And without nv4500, I personally done care for them, I say if you are going to get rid of the g360, get a g56. Hands down the fastest/smoothest shifting transmission,

I've heard that the G56's don't hold up as well as the nv5600??

for serious sled pulling the nv4500 is the best and strongest. G56s break second gear and NV5600s break output shafts

Well yea, but my buddy that has a g56 in his pull truck and the only time he has broke anything was in Florida 2 years ago, he clicked off a 12.9 in a quarter right before 3rd blew, the in the DPC this year the input bearing. But his truck is over 700 up and he pulls

as your saying he's already breaking parts in the G56. i didnt say the G56 or NV5600 couldnt be used but both of them cost more then the NV4500 and in the end the NV4500 is the better sled pulling trans anyways.

is your friend John Weatherby aka smoke machine?

Oh I know, but a ve pump vs a 24 valve common rail, you cant make the power to damage it unless your gonna cheat and use drugs. And yes sir that's him.

oh i know what you mean. i just belive in building a good foundation especialy since he started this thred talking about building a dedicated puller. i figured why spend the extra 1500 on a 6 speed when he could spend it on something else ya know.

it will start out being pulled and driven some but as soon as the p-pump goes on she will be a dedicated puller im hoping!!!!! thanks for all the info guys its all helping, if ya got anything else let me know... you just dont see to many 1st gens pulling in indiana so why not build one
