Turning Up A '93

Dat no good, I still don't know about my tranny, it was rebuilt right before I bought the truck. It's a 727, i've heard it is supposed to be damn tough, but I don't know. I've never been much on autos or American-Designed vehicles. I've always had Toyota's until now

Somebody tell me what I did now, I got about a turn out of the full power screw and the truck is idling well above where it should be. I turnned the screw back where it was and got no change. Got good power, but it is still idling too high

I would recomend not getting POD's. New Era makes better injectors. Get the 3200k spring and while your putting that in take out your high and low idle stops. Get the full power screw freed up and take it out. It will be essier to put the pump top on with it off. Grind the snot out of your fuel pin. I like to use 3m rollocks. Use a 24 grit to cut into it then use a red or blue one to put a nice finsih on it. I wanted some more smoke so I took just the tip off the end of my afc lever. That is under with the top also so if you feel like it do it while it's apart. I turn the star wheel down a wase to get some more smoke out of it. Took the plastic coller off the fuel pin and put a rubber o-ring on. When you put it back together have the intake going to the turbo off and have something ready to plug her off if she startes to take off. Turn the fuel screw in or out until you get your idle where you want it. My idle is a little high and in first and second the rpm's are a little slow to come down but they do. If i drive like a old fart I don't make any smoke. If i want to witch is quite often just lug her down and mash it. I can blanket a road. Pulls really hard to, can't step on it in fifth without slipping the clutch.
If you are going to tow don't get a 16cm exhaust housing. Try to get a 18.5 and do the compressor upgrade.
For the trans I would suggest a converter and a shift kit.
I have Bosh 190 injectors in mine but want to get some new era's.

Oh man, sorry Jason! That is rather odd that the idle didnt return when u backed the screw out. Got me baffled anyway. But when u give it more fuel via the fuel screw the idle goes up becuase now its feeding more fuel at all RPM's. Did ya get er squared away yet or still havin trouble?
Yeah its easiest to completly remove the screw from the pump and use some sort of pick, or mini flathead screw driver to pry the collar off. I have forgotten now what the threads are to retap it with now.
Crap, gotta run, I hear a overvalve in my driveway which means i gotta go haul hay!
