Default 1992 a518 to getrag 5sp swap

I am changing from 4x4 to 4x4, I have the block ring, trany and adapter. what i need to know is what i have to do to my transfer case to be able to bolt it to the getrag. it appears for the getrag there is a nose cone lookin thing. mine has a big hole in the input side. are the input shafts the same on both of them?? thanks

At this point if i want to use my case i have to have my t-case input shaft bearing pocket bored out to the larger bearing that the getrag out put shaft adapter holds. and buy a larger input shaft and a different coupler. all a518s and 727 mounted t-cases, i guess run the small bearing.....unless i can come up with another t-case with the larger bearing journal. some newer (86 and up np205)chevys and fords ran them for a short time. I believe they will have the circle mounting pattern....still searching

The auto's use 23 spline shafts and manuals use 29 spline. Dodge still uses the same spline counts on the new trucks so you do have a few options

My spare gmc np205 for the truck happens to have the large bearing input.wooohooo, I have an adapter and a new input shaft for the case to fit the getrag on the way. hopefully I have everything. I hear for my swap set up I need the jeep slave cylinder, it's suppose to be a direct fit (haha) to work good with the gmc master. (not sure yet though)
