Heck I made 335hp with a good tranny, PODS, gds 60mm-16cm, aem filter, 4"exhaust, 3200rpm spring, denny T pin, dynamic timing spacer, lift pump, regulator and pump tweaks with 35" tires. All with a bad injector and 35" tires! I can pass new challengers (before I upgraded the turbo), cameros, and stangs! (obviously not the SS but those have like 450hp in a light car) and go 115 mph!! Do you really need more ?

read my sig cant say much for exact hp, but it out tows and blows off my friends 24v that dynos at 412hp.... i also have a tone of money dumped into the thing and my pump guy did a bunch of improvements to the internal passages of the pump for free. could use a bigger charger. but it works

- Walbro 392 lift-pump, bypass regulated to 12psig with 3/8" supply and 1/2" return lines. Stock/OEM 12mm IP with a modified 3800rpm gov spring and M&H timing spacer. Adjusted internal gov/fuel screw & linkage. 6x0.016" EDMs. Dyno tuned IP timing.
- Real cold air intake, HT3B & S362/14, custom Hellman IC, PDR ported head. Hamilton 181/210 cam, push-rods and stg1 valve-springs. ATS exhaust manifold, 4" exhaust.
- And other stuff.
- Custom Suncoast NON lock-up converter and a stupid beefed-up 46RH.

= 489hp to the ground with no silly Nawz.

(Still working on it)

Do you still sell injectors or anything. I am interested in speaking with someone on doing a mild build on a daily driver/work truck. Not sure who to contact on this.

Default 1989 D250 5-speed Cummins upgrades?

Hi,
I have owned my 1989 D250 5-speed Cummins since 1995 and it was basically stock except straight through exhaust, no muffler and 1-ton axle with air shocks. I used to tow a boat and fifth wheel but don't own either anymore. This year I started reading and researching some articles on increasing the power on these trucks. A few months back I installed a 3200rpm spring, aftermarket fuel pin and dynamic timing spacer as well as turning up the fuel screw. These changes have made a drastic difference in how the truck drives. I have been reading the next most likely change to increase power and drivability would be to swap the turbo to an HX-35 or similar turbo. I don't have either a boost gauge or exhaust gas pyrometer and if I make several full throttle passes the temp gauge goes up quickly past half way where it normally runs. What are your recommendations on next steps for budget increases in power and drivability?

Thanks,
Mark
