compound help!
i am doing a compoud setup on my w250, now my friend wants me to go with a hx35 or s300 over a k31, but i want to do a he351ve or the k31. will the 351 hold up? will my dp be safe or will it be too much for the 351? and will the 351 flow as much air as a hx35 or s300? i just figured that because the 351 has the billet 60mm compressor wheel which i am pretty sure is the same as the s300? why not go with the 351 for its vgt ability. i hope you guys can help. thank you

or are there any other top turbo's that you guys know of that are budget oriented/ under $500 that would work? a garret off a 96 powerstroke for instance? is using the he351 and just fixing the vains to a certain size would be a cheap way of copying a s300?

Just pull the trigger any of the set-ups you choose will be better then a single... My personal choice is S300 next to a S400 frame as there is so many different exhaust housing and wheels available if you choice to change things up..
If your goal is 550HP your going to need more then just twin turbos. Have you considered all the other things that go with making that kind of HP level on a VE pump?

Don't think for one minute that power level comes without a cost .. . . . over and above what it costs to build the complete engine.
I'm in the final stages of a 48RH build for my mess to get similar power to the ground without busting a gut.
You've already mentions the words "budget oriented". . . . . . oops.
But it is fun to take a 6400lb cinder block on 33's and run a high 12 second 1/4 mile pass. The silly ricer in the other lane ~ "Y'all watch me blister this old guy and his stupid farm truck", never sees it coming.
