Default How much power will I be creating???

I am about to buy a 1992 w350 and I will be straighting the pipes, and installing a BHAF to reduce the egts. I will be installing a throttle pin and turning the smoke screw, thats about all I want to do to mod the truck and does anybody kknow off hand how much power I will be creating, just an estimate, the pic will be a 40 hp bullydog, do these turboes have waste gates?

If you're going to tweak your fuel screw, I'd suggest getting a pyro first. Putting a BHAF won't lower your EGT's, esp. if you're going to up your fuel. That's counter-productive. More fuel = more heat. More air from the BHAF will also increase temps. More air will mean burning leaner, or burning the fuel more completely. More burn = more heat. So, while you will make more power, you will also make more heat.
In saying all that, I'm guessing what you mean is that you don't want to make so much heat you start melting things. Get a pyro so you can monitor what's going on in there more accurately.

Oh, as to how much power you will be making depends on how your getting it to the ground. Manuel or auto tranny? You'll lose more with no lockup converter than with a Getrag. So, depending on how much fuel you're running, I'd say somewhere around 180 - 220 HP, maybe more.
