You also didn't have to rebuild the engine.... For 5k you can build a 400hp VE truck pretty "easy" well at least you can get the parts to do it... To do a factory rebuild on an engine and make 400hp on 5k... I dont see it...

Have you looked into a used engine? Lots of guys part out trucks....

i know where they are complete 1995 complete engs out of school buses with about 100k on them. they have everything on them.

i got my 94 engine with half a truck for $2k parted the rest of the truck out and made $800 back...

bobby, i was just making the point that it cost a lot to make hp out of our trucks, and my $5k includes things like my clutch and lift pumps, ect, to support the mods
