my friend has a 2nd gen 97 thats bone stock all he has is his fuel plate slid forwards and his afc adjusted and it smokes like the fires of hell anywhere and at every speed not to good on his fuel economy though

Mine use to haze at any speed until I put on a 62/14, much better now.

Mine has a mind of its own. Sometimes it burns clean or hazes and sometimes its a light stream of black smoke. I guess it depends on the mood of the truck,doesn't affect mpg's any so I leave it alone.

JB,

I think it was you who posted about starwheel adjustment and hazing. I took your advice and over the course of a week or two managed to find a happy medium between smoke and power. Now my truck only smokes if i'm really out of boost and stomp it. If I'm at a light and just floor the pedal in neutral it puffs a black toot and that's it.

Not that that has anything to do with this thread, but I'm bored and felt like posting.

Now, if we were in prison, you'd be da belle of da ball!

WOT uphill grade .... POD 300s, 3200spring, DennyT stage1....... Yeah... It "hazes" hahahaha but i'm also going 100mph!

My 91 started hazing like crazy after I put the 4" exhaust on it. I couldn't tune it out and wound up going to the HTB2.

i have a haze at any and all rpm, over 70mph and about 2Krpm's i have a solid black streamer out of my stack and kinda white/greyish otherwise
