Well I got my spacer yesterday so I'm gonna get it put in next time I get some work done on the motor. Be nice to see how this thing is gonna run when I get this all done.

I got mine in. The truck lost 2 psi, and 100* of EGT. The weather was kind of crappy today, so I will have to check again when it's not so windy.

It looks like it will allow me to turn the full power screw up another turn or so, so that's good.

I'm gonna have to figure somethin out then on mine. I for the life of me could not get that damn collar off the fuel screw. If I would have contiued to pull it off then the spot-weld would have just tore a section of the collar and I would have been stuck with a big hunk of weld and collar left. So I'm stumped on that for now.

i held the jam nut that was on the fuel screw with a 13mm wrench... just used the 8mm or whatever on the end of the fuel pin, and turned until the jam nut popped the collar off. is that the way you tired too?

No i had the thing out of the pump when I was replacing a few seals and puttin in the goodies and I was just trying to pry it off. Guess I'll have to give your method a try

how did it feel on power? how much smoke did you lose?

I can't really tell you on the power, all I know is EGT's are down a good amount, so I'm going to adjust the full power screw some more.

I told the shop who reinstalled the pump to turn the power screw back 2 turns when I had the 6 x 14's installed. They didn't do it. So my pump is maxed out. Time to look into having that PDR "hotrod" pump I have installed instead of selling it.

It does seem like it smokes a lot less when warming up in the morning. I don't see how the timing spacer would have an effect at idle, so I dunno.

Well didn't you bump the timing back to stock and then install the spacer? The stock timing would make a difference with the smoke, and still gives you the same advantage as the bump but without the sacrifices that the bump has.
