Default VE Pump tuning

On the VE Rotary pumps, how many turns can you run in the full power screw before you can get yourself in trouble. I know when you mess with the full power screw you have to back the idle down.

When turning in the full fuel screw, the best thing you can go by is the EGTs. Turn a little at a time and watch the pyro gauge. One or two turns will give you a good bit of power without hurting anything. Three or four is about max. Remember, if you're going to be towing, that adjustment is going to really raise the EGT's. Also when doing this you might have to adjust the smoke screw to reduce low speed smoke.
