I want to change from wood to metal because after awhile the bed is starting to rought. I tryed to coat it in some bed liner but it did not stick very well. Then I tryed to use some wood sealer but its a soft wood so it just drinks it all in. I was thinking about getting some dimond plate steel to cover the whole bed but I was afraid that it would look like **** what do yall think.

Can you come tune mine? I've got PODs in mine with a rebuilt/tuned pump that is set up for them but on the mild side. I want to get 25 mpg on the highway. Mine has an auto with 3.54 gears, headed to some 35" Nittos soon too. C'mon, what's the secret? My last trip on the highway I was getting about 14-15 mpg cruising at about 70-75 mph most of the way.

Last road trip i took, I got 22mpg. I'm getting bigger tires today and put in a fuel pin yesterday, so we'll see what happens to that. Either way, diesel's cheap...

It's not as cheap as it used to be. But it's a lot better than it was last year that's for sure.
