a freind of mine gave me his stock LP off of his 1996, is this the same LOW pressure pump as the one pictured? if so what kind of power gains should i see if any?

I ordered #3936320 pump for my 1st gen with VE pump;;The place I ordered from sent me #3936318 pump instead;;will it work without a regulator for my VE pump

If nobody has an answer....

Compare it with the fastenal spring thats supposed to lower the pressure in a 2ndgen pump.
