Default 05 head gasket on a 93

i got a headgasket (came 2 in a pack) off a 05 that i had to swap the motor out of bc of scorched cylinder under warranty just wondering if the 05 MLS gasket will fit in place of the old style gasket in the 93 when the event of the blown headgasket occurs just wondering bc its got to hold better

I seem to recall the MLS gaskets not holding up very well on the non-CR vehicles for whatever reason?

Or was that just the Cometic MLS gaskets?

It was teh cosmetic MLS ones.

I want to say I've heard good things about running the CR MLS gasket on 12v's. I think you need to make a hole or something in it though.

using the old gasket as a stencil will eliminate the guessing; personall i have NO clue but my method of maddness would be to "stencil" the original trim it (or drill it) to be exactly like the OE
