The fuel pin is easy, 10 mins. U need a 12mm, a flat head screwdriver, and a magic marker, pen, or a piece of chalk. Very easy, good results

Look at the article, what you do is take the cover off that the smoke screw is on, via the 4 flathead screws right on top. Before that, take the line off the back, banjo fitting, washers on both sides. It's on the back of that cover, comes from the intake manifold. It's a boost line. Take cover off, mark the rubber piece and the metal so you know where it was. Grab it in the middle, pick it up, watch the plastic washer on it. Turn it 90 degrees clockwise. Put it back in. Put cover back on, 4 screws, line and washers. Be careful tightening that bolt up, it's very thin. Just snug it. Voila

Not a problem, just be very careful, especially with those brass washers and tightenin that fitting back up. If u mess that up, your screwed.

If you have any questions, let me know, let me know how it turns out. The next adjustment will be a full range adjustment. We both need pyros before that though

hey guys, wanted to clear few things up. The pre 94 a518 is NOT a lock up tranny unfortunatly. We had this debate on DTR maybe 2 months ago. Also for fuel pin, just pull it out, have a good look at it, and turn it so the full deep side is forward to the front of the truck. Also, thats the pin u grind into the old smokey pin or the 200 dollar pin bully dog sells, just follow the contour of the pin to rfamp up the fuel like its intended, n grind it right down so the neck is really thin, like 1/16". its super hardened steel so it'll hold up. If your getting your info from the dodge ram tech page, the info is good. BUT VERY concervative. Also while u got the pin out, u can drop the star wheel, just turn it clockwise till it hits bottom. All it does is set the spring tension to when you'll get full fuel when boost begins to build. It makes for good bottom end, and more preboost smoke.

You may need to check the little road map the rack leaves on the fuel pin after a few runs, just to be sure u cut the neck down far enough so it isnt pushing the fuel rack back in and defueling.

oh, just so ya'll know too. I ran mine with 2.5 turns full fuel, star wheel bottomed, old smokey pin, and 2 turn on the smoke screw, w/o a pyro, n when i finally got it in i was only maxing out at 1100 EGTs pre turbo. with a 4" downpipe too. just some food for thought

Yeah, I know it's conservative, I gotta get my gauges before I do to much tweakin. Damn, everytime I turn around, I gotta spend money on other things instead of toys. Ain't that always how it goes. Thanks for the input.
