How much does he want for it, and do you have pictures? I thinking there's nothing wrong with the truck. These older ladies, didn't and never will drive like a Rolls Royce, they have viberitions and rattles. It's takes a hardy sort to drive and enjoy them. Just my 2 cents.

There have been several discussion about this subject and one of the items that is been use is a cranshaft fluiddamper pulley...Also "Second Skin" have several products and inside the cab carpet mats that reduce few dB for a smoot ride....

Also increasing Idle rpm to about 1000 is a good idea....

Sound Deadening Materials for Noise Reduction from Second Skin
Bumping your idle to 1000RPM could have other effects though. Aweful Hard on the auto trannys. and you truck will want to "push" through your breaks a little. Not to mention when you snap the throttle it will tend to hang at the high RPM for a little. At 750-800 RPM there is no more vibrtion then at 1000. It would be a good idea to check it as I have seen quite a few un molested 1st gens that the idle is way down, like 500-600. Dont know why but I have seen a few like this.
