ARP Head Studs
i am planning on getting the ARP Head Studs for my 5.9 and was wondering if anybody has tried this and if it worked for you, not trying to take the easy way out just the cheap way out.....i was wanting to save some time and money but not sure if it will work or not....will it work if i start from the inside and go clockwise and take out one stock head bolt and replace it with an ARP head stud and torque it to spec and take the second stock one out and replace it. so on and so forth?
I've done the pull bolt, install stud trick. It isn't the completely correct way but it has worked for me. Use the recommended torque sequence. When installing a stud I torqued it to about 65ish. When they were all in, then gradually go up to final torque.
