home made stacks
hey guys im looking into making a homemade stack kit. i was wondering if anyone had the dimensions from the turbo back, ie. down pipe to 90, 90 to 90, 90 to y. or should i just create my own. im just trying to plan it out. i worried about the the proper placement of the hole in the bed. want to make sure i cut it right the first time, that im not to far forward or to far back. thanks for all and any feedback

I'm looking to do 5" underneath with 8" straight cut stacks. I was trying to get away with out using flex pipe but I realized I need it for flex. My biggest concern is where to put the hole so it's not too close or too far from the bed rails

Ok changed my mind I'm going with 7" stacks

so set the stacks inside the bed. mark it and then cut the holes from the top down. and then slide in your tubing (would save u alot of room) and then mount to frame and then cut the hole in the bottom of it and weld in your pipe to flex to..... the problem of doing a below bed cross pipe is getting to the welds on the stacks to the cross pipe. that and its gona be almost impossible to remove the stacks once installed. u have to use flex no matter what stack setup. the tq of the engine flex's to much and would eventually break the welds.
