Default help with lift install

ok so been searching for a hot minute but haven't found answers to my ?'s....

1) how high can i go on a suspension lift without looking to extend the d/s?
2) on a budget and been comparing diff places, but what's the best bang for buck?

ultimately when have money and time would like to go 8" lift on 40's and 38's with steering stability better than stock. i have really been eye ballin top gun customz, they really sound like they know their stuff and have some great products. interested in ride quality so looking into bags for the rear and a one piece d/s for this. do a bit of off road trails and mudding say weekends mostly. of course before all of this would have built trans, gears, and tuner installed ;P

anyways, input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Will I know this is a few months old but a 6" lift should be fine with out the driveshaft mod. I like carli suspension systems pricey but they make a great riding kit.
