Whoever came up with the term " Rolling Coal" needs to suck start a firearm. And no, a good running, well built, and well tuned diesel will barely smoke. You dont have to smoke to go fast. If Banks can build a 8 second D-Max powered dragster that doesnt smoke one bit then someones truck doesnt need to blow smoke everywhere going 0-60 in 13 seconds. Yes, Banks had an unlimited budget and blah blah blah. Still no excuse for your stock truck that you put big a big tuner on, a huge stack, and pointless 22in wheels on to smoke all the way down highway. This is not directed at a certain person so no one get all pissy. Id rather make tire smoke than black smoke. Just my opinion though.

To the OP. Not quite sure why you want smoke friend. Do you associate it with more performance? That is seldom the case and while my cohorts delivery of the cold hard facts may lack tact and manners, the truth is still the same. I envy the fact that you have an '06 since that's the first year you can get EFI Live on. If you want to blaze a not so common path, try it on for size.

Banks Sidewinder S-10: first diesel drag truck in 7's - YouTube

Not saying my truck doesn't smoke. But I wish it ran like banks's sidewinder.

I'm pretty sure this kid is just a trolling little #@%. He hasn't posted much in the three years he's been here and in his intro he pretty much declared himself a DA. I hate to say but I'm sure he just posted this up to light a fire under us and then sit back an laugh. Douche bag? You, sir, are one
