Just a FYI or the cp3 upgrade they say to take off the intake manifold but I did mine without removing it, and a flashlight and someone with small hands definitely makes it easier! Had trouble getting my gorilla hands to the gear pump bolts

As for the trans yeah I'll most likely use Dave G's full trans. I loved my other one he did.

goerends is deffinately my first suggestion on a trans. im running his TC and VB and have had 0 problems out of it and made a world of a difference.

if you go with a 2nd gen manifold u will have to get a different down pipe and figure out a different charge air tube between the turbo and the intercooler.

let me know if i can help you with any of it
I would have to agree here, i had a fass on my truck and it was loud, my airdog 150 is silent compared to the fass i had.

And telling yourself your not gonna mod your CR? I told myself i was only gonna aim for 500HP but somehow that number rose to 650.

and for a turbo, we sale river city turbos. they can make any congifuration out there. we just installed a 64/s480 on a truck and it spools awsome. thye truck had the 64 on it first, and it spooled as good, if not a lil faster than it did stock. so far, out of all the turbos we have sold, 0 problems. they do pulling turbos also. sold a billet s478 2.6 clipped turbo to friend a few weeks ago, waiting to hear how he likes it after he gets a few hooks on it. and the prices are usualy a lil cheaper on most things, some therte alot cheaper on.
