? about a 2 micron fuel filter

ok guy i am new to the cr i see where alot of people talk about running a 2 micron fuel filter on the truck i got a airdog 150 do i still need them if so where do you buy them and where are they on the truck

the airdog comes with a 2 micron filter in it.
