Changed injectors in 04 Cummins, now won't start
#2
If you're cranking it over and you don't hear a loud smacking sound, the valves probably aren't the problem You probably just have some air in one of the lines that is not allowing the injector/s to pop. I would recheck your fuel lines and make sure they are tight with no cracks from install. Then move onto the electrical connections make sure they are all connected and don't have some piece of gunk interfering with the connection, always make sure to disconnect your battery when doing this!!!! Make sure to replace your fuel filter, and make sure the lift pump is working properly.
When I replaced the injectors on my 04 Dodge the valve lash was within spec after 180,000 miles. Did you check and/or readjust the valve lash after installing the injectors?

You might try loosening the fuel line at each injector and turning the key to the ON position to purge the lines as well.
