Im currently having a problem with ATS as well, but im not lashing out on them, i just want a honest answer on my tranny. I just want my transmission back and to have it running again. Im currently sharing a car with my mom and i leave to college in 3 weeks, and without my truck, i have no ride. I found rollers in my pan that appear to be from the torque convertor, i have sent pictures like they have requested but they say there is nothing wrong with either the transmission or torque convertor. Mike was very nice and was easy to deal with, but i wish the other workers there were the same because i have left messages and sent emails but i have yet to recieve a response. Im just scared of getting my transmission back and still having a problem with it. Below is what i found in the transmission.

I had a problem with my first tranny. They fixed it at thier cost and i haven't had a problem for the last year. The customer service was pretty good considering they did fix my problem. The only thing i would say they could improve on is having more coordination within thier customer service/warranty dept. They should imput compliants from customers on a file that is accessable to everyone that works there so if you call the next day and talk to someone new you can pick up right where you left off and everyone is on the same page. All in all I am happy with them and they took care of me. I think they mean well and are an honest company, there is just some fat to trim off of thier procedures.

I totally agree. Jeff was nothing but a *****. He tried telling me there was nothing wrong with my transmission and was ready to send it back at my expense. so I talked to Chris and sent him pictures and when they did find a problem, jeff chewed me out saying that they dealt with this kind of stuff and that they didn't need need some kid trying to tell them what to do and to let them do their job. Oh well...got my truck back yesterday and I won't be going back to them. They just need to realize that someone that has a good experience will only tell 5 people about it and someone with a bad experience will tell 20.

I just got my ATS Trans installed less than 3500 miles, on the 3rd Valve body, have been without my truck for a month now. The last valve body got here Friday and was installed that afternoon, still same issue. "starts in 2 or 3, and will not shift manually down, torque converter does not lock, and in overdrive at 30 mph."

I have had issues early on getting someone to return my calls, but as of late have not had that.

Where i live there are no ATS Shops,
Original Trans had not failed, but its a Dodge and just turned over 115000 miles, Towing 5er and Large Enclosed Trailer.

Not sure where to go from here, As a Consumer how many chances do you give a company to get it right? I am now beginning to get the feeling that I'm being taken for a ride.

Any of you with previous experience have the Phone numbers of people at ATS that have gotten you taken care of?

I have invested substantial resources into the transmission.
With less than 5000 miles on it, I have spent over $1500, more to get something that is kind of working.
I have spoke with the warranty department, several times, last time was last week, was told that the check to reimburse me for expenses to get to this point should be here.
I still do not have a transmission I feel is reliable.
I now am not willing to keep spending $, to find resolutions for issues that I believe I should not be having.

Mail order transmissions are a pain to get right for every customer. Unless its in front of you on a set of pressure gauges you don't know what its doing. Best to have a quality trans shop do the install and verify its doing what It's supposed to. If you buy online or from a out of town company and don't have a trusted local builder chances are your in for a lot of communication issues and hard feelings.
