Which Intake????
Supertrucker - I think you are better off going with one of the new style of filters. You wash them up just like an oiled filter, let them dry, and install them. There is NO oil involved anymore. AEM and AFE both have them.
I run an ICEBOX. It is a very high quality unit. The 2nd gen Dodge ICEBOX uses the AMSOIL 4510 filter, and the 3rd gen ICEBOX uses the AMSOIL 4091 filter. Those are the dry Nanofiber filters. And the ICEBOX is made in the USA right in Colorado! How's that for unique? Everything is from China nowadays.

What worries me about the dry one from AFE or AEM is are they goin to last as long as an oiled filter? I really like the pro guard 7. It will be about a week or so before I make up my mind but I am still leavin my ears and eyes open to suggestions. Whats the difference between the three filters that AFE offers other than that two are oiled?
I dunno really...probably denser filter media. Afe and AEM make some pretty high quality products - I wouldnt worry about the new filters. JMO.
I have a Proguard 7 and its been great, just kind of a pain (at least for me) to oil...

I had been running the Cool Blue Hose, Cool Power mod to the stock air box and the Amsoil nano. I just recently change that out and am now using the Cool Blue Hose with the ICE BOX and the 4091 Amsoil nano plus the Outerwears for additional dirt/water protection.
So far, I am pleased with the ICE BOX. I left in the silencer ring, still can hear the turbo whistle, but it is very livable.
