Default diablo predator or TST

I have a diablo predator and like it very much. But there are some things I dont like
1. can switch on the fly.
2. is big and cumbersome
3. I dont have gauges.

So I was looking for a way to get both and was looking for an alternative.
I was looking at getting a puck and stacking. but I would still need gauges but I could have a little felxibility with changing on the fly.

So I did some reading and saw that with the TST you could get the remote and it has boost and EGT gauge on it.
is this a better system?
would this give me what I need except the tranny temp gauge?

I have a boost fooler in now and a ROKK tech. Im pretty sure I would have to get rid of those because the TST does both.

Im looking for an all in one for to solve my gauge problem. I noticed gauges are pretty exspensive.

I sold 2 trees yesterday for $500 on the back side of my property. it is part of my slush fund LOL. But I saw some TSTs for that price range and figured I could sell my current stuff if I like the TST

There are several TST's that will fit your truck. From the PowerMax CR Econ all the way up to the PowerMax CR with the R49 controller which has gauges.

The full blown PowerMax CR is a M-O-N-S-T-E-R of a box. VERY agressive and awesome power. However, that box isn't designed to be run wide open with a stock truck. What TST has done is create a box that will grow with your modifications... as you add things like performance clutches, trannies, turbo's, etc you can take adavantage ofhte higher levels of the PowerMax.

Not to say that it doesn't make insane power with a stock truck.. just saying that there has been more than one instance of a grenaded stock turbo with a tst cranked all the way up.

TST makes the highest quality equipment available. You won't go wrong with buying one if you plan to BOMB your truck.

Might I suggest an Edge Juice/Attitude? Or Maybe a Quadzilla Xzilliraider/Commander? Two other good options.

you may. Im just looking for an all round option. switch on the fly and gauges.
my current setup will cost me more to get both.
but if I sell my setup and get an all in one then I'd be happy.
I just saw a lot about the TST.
I'd love the quad setup but I dont see many people getting rid of them.

I would also like the same power available as my diablo has.

I am also looking for used not new.

the TST is definately the most flexible of the three. The displays on the Quad and Edge are way better than the TST. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a deal on a used one of the three. I've seen the Edge Juice/Att's for 3rd gens go for $450 fairly regularly.

I'm not sure on a 3rd Gen. I'm sure both do boost fooling... and I'm thinking that the Edge does NOT do timing on 3rd Gen's. Don't quote me on that though..

There's both a TST and an Edge on dieseltruckresource.com classifieds right now. Both in the $500 range.

The TST makes some crazy power but it's top end power and won't be as smooth as your Predator. I've run both and would take the Predator anyday unless I was just going for max power on the dyno. The TST is just awesome if you want the big numbers. If you care about driveability then stick with your Predator and just buy some guages.....

I have the Juice/Attitude and really like it. I thought it did timing and boost fooling, and just didn't do pressure. Is that right?
Once I get a SB clutch, i will get the hot unlock code

Add an EZ in there too for some pressure.... I believe that Juice does some duration too...

I had a deal going for a edge "hot code" and attitude but the guy may not sell it now. so Im in the market for either an edge attitude with hot code or a quadzilla race box and a comander.

keep an eye out.
I saw 2 quad setups on DTR but one of the guys sold the comander and the other guy only has the tow module.

so if you know anyone let me know. I have my predator to trade if anyone is interested in that
