Default Update

I installed it today. It fits great and everything clears nicely. I did manage to snap a bolt on one of the clamps. I was torquing the bolt to the suggested 65lb/ft. but I added copper coat to the threads and probably should have back down a bit. I replaced the bolt with 3/8 grade 8 and continued on. After I drive it a few days I will get the mig machine out and put a couple tack welds at each joint. The sound is awesome.
Here is a bunch of pictures of it.

That kit looks exactly like the Silverline I have. The hangers are the same, the downpipe is the same, and the tail pipe is identical.

I got mine as a scratch and dent from a distributor. It's the 409 stainless, so I primed the pipes and painted them flat black with VHT ceramic spray paint. It looks great with black pipes and I haven't seen a hint of surface rust on the stainless. The chrome 6" tip looks nice on the black pipe and it sounds awesome.

I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

Have you lost any lowend power? My 5" silverline 309 lost some on the bottom but makes up for it on the highway geting rid of exhaust temps. And sounds great!
