Default Stacking without added timing

Ok I need a little help. I recently got my qyadzilla xzt module back from quad cause I was getting the timing taken off where I could stack it with bullydog. With the extra timing it was responsive as hell. Was very nice together, never heard the knocking, I just thought I should get it taken off to be safe. The engine never really sounded different, maybe a slightly higher pitch while being floored, but now it has more or a knocking sound when I stack it. Even at idle it sounds a little different. Is this normal? It still has some extra kick, not as much with the timing, but noticable. Any clues? This sound normal when asking for the extra fuel?

The more the timing gets advanced, the more fuel knock you get. It's adding fuel before cylinder temps are at peak temp.

Hmmm. I honestly can't remember wide open. But I could even notice at idle and normal operation. Just city driving. I'll play today and see. I'm gonna let my friend play with it fir a while also so I'll see if I notice it on his truck also.
