Head studs?
Hello to everyone who knows more about this than me,
I have seen everywhere that head studs are recommended if the trucks making 50+ psi, im only making between 40-45 at the most, but my trucks at 162,000 im a little worried my old haed gasket isnt gonna take it much longer. Would anyone recommend studding it, or will it hold? and is there any chance replacing my studs with the head still on could ruin the gasket?...i dont want to pull my head in my driveway. thank you.

Studs are always a good idea and yes you can do them with the head on. Do them one at a time. One really cant say that it will blow at a given boost pressure. It depends on cylinder pressure which takes into account drive pressure and timing. If your pushing 45psi from the stock charger then you are pushing your luck with the gasket.
