Any of you guys have any aftermarket remote start systems? I'm thinking about buying a viper for my truck because some models do have the wait to start feature built into them. If you guys do have one did you install it and if you did was it a pain in the butt or just time consuming. I'm pretty good when it comes to wiring things.

 

I am a licensed mobile electronics installer and remote systems are not an easy thing to install. Not saying you can't do it but they can be very involved systems. I would recommend you get it installed by a professional unless you feel comfortable with 12v electronics.

 

One of my buddies and I are going to install one on his wives 07 Nitro tomorrow and the kit he has came with everything for a diesel so if it isn't to bad on the Nitro I may have to order one.
