Default Snubber Valve...?

Hey guys, I'm finally gettin my gauges and need some help.

I'm purchasing the gauges from Glowshift and they got a great deal goin on, thriple gauges w/pod for rougly $250. I'm gettin boost gauge, 60 psi; EGT, up to 2500* and fuel pressure, 30 psi. When I picked out my fuel pressure gauge it recommended a snubber valve and banjo bolt too. Do I need these for my pickup or are they just optional? Do they benifit or make the gauge work more accurately or what?

I will be installing a FASS Titanium system in a few weeks too so will the snubber valve or banjo bolt be a necessity for the install or help it somehow?

Also, just saw it also offers a boost bolt adapter for intake manifold... What is this and (again) is it necessary?

I really only want to do this once and do it correct so any and all info/advice is encouraged and welcomed. Thanks guys, EA

Just my opinon (as somebody who owns, and has read about glowshift ALOT) do NOT buy your FP gauge from them... just google the stories about them, that alone was enough to keep me steering clear of it. Heres a pic of mine...

I bought glowshift set with tranny temp, egt, and boost and ran ISS pro's FP gauge inside the $30 autometer column pod I got from jegs. Just my opinion, said and done with snubber and all was about $400. No issues with anything so far.

Thank ya sir, aimin to keep it real

On the more serious note, yay or nay with GS fuel press gauge? I just sold some stuff I had so I have the whole amount for the setup. I don't mind payin the extra $20-30 if it'll work like it's supposed to, do once right, right?
