Default still no boost???

ok so iv tested my gauge and not it...i have a bully dog torque dog 65hp timing chip with boost fooler also got a super chip programer stacked. i can only get 18 out of my truck. got exhaust, intake, big injection pump, and a valve on the wastegate line and a jhook too...so today to test the intercooler i bypassed it with pipe and ran it and got 20... i know that intercoolers leak a little but i think i should be getting more boost than that...????

Auto or manual truck? If manual, with a HX35, pinch off the wastegate hose and see what happens.

what was it boosting to before?????? if it was boosting 42 lbs and you know you had the leak and now your at 18 than you have a problem, but if you were 22 and now at 18 then fix your leak. LOL

-check all exhaust joints
-all intake boots
-your turbo might be crapping out on you. take the filter off with the truck shut off and spin the impeller. does it spin super freely for several seconds or is it a spin and stop thing.
-your waste gate could be stuck open. make sure it isnt all carboned up. pinching the hose wont help if its already stuck open.
-i asume its still fueling the same as it was before. not much fuel can = not much boost

let us know what you come up with. but IF it was working before and barely now im guessy a stuck gate a junk turbo or a MASSIVE air leak. pre turbo or intake

Thanks guys...18 is all iv ever seen. If I turn my truck to stock even lower... I have the wastegate hose plugged and iv to the turbo off and checked it. It spins free too. This weekend I bought the tst powermax 3 so I'm Gona put that on tonight and see what it does. I think I'm not getting enough full to it.

how much play do you have in your turbo shaft? take off your intake boot and see how much you can wiggle your compressor wheel.

I had a low boost issue before, $50 rebuild kit and $6 gasket later, I had 24 lbs with my wastegate. turns out, if you have to much play in your turbo, a lot of psi's squeeze by unnoticed
