OK. I thought the system was already set up for a warning light. It says in the instructions to tape off the two leads for the warning light, if that is true why would I have to tape them off if the other end is hooked to nothing? The plug in I am referring too, is down by the pump, it's a green plug that is marked pressure sensor. I am confused why they want the two spade ends taped off up in the engine bay if the sensor end is hooked to nothing.

The sensor that lives by the pump should be okay. It's a weatherproof connector and won't touch anything metal. The only way to get it to short out would be to stick a screwdriver or pin into it.
I just taped up the end of mine and zip tied it so that it won't get caught on road debris.
The two exposed connectors on the blue wires up front, however might short out against something. I taped those off as well and zip tied them under the Power Distribution Center.
I don't like to cut off wires because I might use them in the future. I still might put in a Low Pressure light even though I have a gauge. Can't see the gauge from under the hood and I might bump the wrong wire loose under the hood while I'm working on the truck... It'd be nice to have a warning that I can see from outside the truck.
