Default Thoughts on swaping turbos

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alrighty,

Right now I have a 62/65/12, now at the time this was a big step up from a HY35 for me. However, as time has progressed I have been reading alot of threads and sort of confused and would like to hear some different thoughts.

Would replacing it with a 62/71/14 be much of a different feel? I am thinking that it will produce less heat than the current turbo, but will it assist in making more power? What about a 64/71/14? I know that it will be a little more laggy.

Not really interested in twins, just thinking about swaping out the turbo. So which one would perform better with what is in the signature? Thanks.

Depending on what you do with your truck but yes you will notice lag with a 64/71/14.

Going from a 62/65/12 to a 62/71/14...would there be a real notice....would it be a gain to me?
