Good deal on a set of compounds
I did get the oil filter on, but oh man is it a tight fit... I dread changing my oil next time. I did just put fresh oil and filter in. It's up and running and all I can say is wow, that thing spools like stock. It can't even be compared to the 64 single I had.
So I'm thinking, could I move the oil filter location so I don't have to pull all the silicone lines and air filter tubes off the compounds when I do an oil change? That stuff was a pain to get on. Let alone getting the oil filter to fit in there in the first place... I know they make those systems to move your oil filter to a different location...
Last but not least, I'm going to have to get used to the new sound... Doesn't really have that high pitched whistle, it's more of a ffffffffffffffffff sound rather than a sssssssssss... If that makes sense to anyone. It almost worries me because it's like a dry noise. I've never heard of set of compounds inside the cab so I have nothing to compare it to. Does this sound normal?
