Default Adjust timing to account for different Cetane ratings & fuel mixtures?

Are there any boxes/tuners that allow for adjusting the timing to account for different Cetane rated fuel or fuel blends?

Seems like it would help effeciency if you could dynamically adjust the timing for the variations in Cetane rating and fuel blends. I read in another thread that adjusting their Edge Comp to 3x3 or 4x4, etc shifted the timing enough to help in some situations.

Here is the thread

To be honest with you, I dont know of a single box that has a timing setting based on cetane. I know some like the ADR have the ability to change the timing advance at a given throttle percentage but i dont know of any that base it off of cetane. And ofr the record, the only thing I noticed after bumping up the cetane is easier starting and less smoke, actually did a dyno run one time while a higher cetane diesel fuel, only gained 3 hp over the base. But as far as designing a box around one, ehhh, I doubt thatd happen. Too much variance in the cetane ratings sometimes. If youre wanting to be able to play with timing yourself, get the Adrenaline, But thats just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth i guess.

Since fuel prices are rising fast, most people want to sqeeze all of the power/efficiency
from the fuel they buy. If there is a noticable difference, adjusting timing could be a feature that sets your box apart.

I've played around with different cetan ratings before, nothing ever has shown a major difference in dyno runs, maybe a hp here or there and I only noticed a slighht, very slight difference in mpg. But ill be sure to bring it up and see what our engineers think
