Default Swapping back plates on a turbo

Ok so Ive been pondering on this question for awhile. A buddy of mine asked me if it was possible to take the 4in exhaust back plate off of a 16cm wastegated exhaust housing and put it on a 14cm wastedgate housing that still use the factory exhaust size. Is it possible to do this and if so what kind of gasket would u have to replace?

Thanks

if you talking about the five bolts on the back of the turbo, i reuse that gasket. it's a metal one just like the turbo/manifold gaskets.

not real sure about fitment though.

hm good question , i have seen some for sale that bolt on and use an hx40 style exhaust flange, and they don't look too hard to make.
