The HO pump has less power potential the the SO pump believe it or not. The 6 speed SHOULD be a HO though.

 

It ''WAS'' a HO and it went out and thanks to this website i did some research and slapped a SO on the ole gal.. Ya'll are right on what it ''should'' be though...

 

They did make a 6 speed so in early 01. Theres a guy on the cummins forum with one.. There wasn't many made like that though. If you want lope the turn every thing but the pump stretch to zero on a adrenaline... I heard that'll create a lope.... Don't know how good it is for the truck tho. Saw it on you tube!! haha

 

saw that too but i got a comp... and lines are cheaper... but i'm over it i ''use'' my truck a lot and think the lope would be rather inconvenient..

 

I've got the .093 lines and tubes on my 6 speed, running the comp box, and it makes a pretty mean constant lope with my big injectors. It will almost try to surge tho if you push it real hard on the highway and then let out, but it has only died on me once. It didnt lope quite as bad when i had 100hp injectors. It is a waste of money but it does sound sweet
