Clutch
So I have been looking at clutches for my truck to prepare it for the upgrades that I want to do. What do you guys think of the Southbend Street Double Disc clutch? I've been looking at the one rated 650-750 hp. It doesn't say that it needs the hydraulic upgrade like the Double Disc. Down the road I plan on getting injectors to go with a Super B Special, head studs, 3 piece exhaust manifold, draw straw, maybe a hot rod VP44, and a Smarty. So just wondering what you guys have to say about the Southbend Street Double Disc.

You will love it. That was my second aftermarket clutch and it drove and behaved like a stock clutch. No chirping no jerking just nice smooth engagement. Great for towing and backing up trailers. You shouldn't need the hydro upgrade with your second gen, the only trucks that really need the hydro upgrade are the 2005 and newer trucks with the G56 tranny. Only reason you might need them is if your factory hydros are getting tired and worn out.
