fass ddrp lift pump pressures?
Puhleez. There's some dubious info there, for sure.
Like I said before: Cause and effect. It fools alot of people real easy.
Along with heresay.
is all I have to say about that. If you only knew all the issues and things that have gone on with having 3 2nd gen 24v's in the family and things that were supposed to help you would understand that I have tried them all. My dad had the in tank pump installed at a local shop a few years back because this was the fix that would totally cure the weak carter lift pump. 2 months later he put on an edge comp and it would not keep up with that past level 1. So he dealt with that and finally put on a fass system and sump. I tried the holley blue because that seemed to be working so much better than the in tank pump, but they went out just about as fast as the carter. Then I heard you need to put the big line kit on because that will help with any restrictions for the holley I did this my pump lasted about 9months that time. I put a fass on and haven't looked back. I did upgrade to a fass 150 last year due to adding a lot more fuel to the setup. My fass 95 is now on my dads 99 working just fine. If you can't ******* read this is a 2nd 24v forum here and I am actually giving first hand knowledge of the issues with these trucks from trail and error. It's been a love hate relationship with these trucks. When they run the run hard, but when something wants to be a bitch the can just ruin your whole month.
if both pumps are working together it's possible to have that much at idle then when you get on it, they can't keep up at that pace. But 30psi at idle is too much. get a regulator in line to cure that keep it around 15-20.
is it my gauge or pump but im not for sure if i have a in tank pump? how do i check? its weird though just all of a sudden two days ago it started pegging out. Weird?

just a couple of days ago my truck would never go over 20 psi but now all of a sudden its pegged out at 30?

My in tank pump is controlled my a relay by the left hood hinge. It has wires running down the frame rail, to the battery, and to the fuel pump lug on the engine harness. When I had fuel pump compounded my Edge read 30 at low idle, and 15 at WOT.
If not I'm gonna guess it's in the tank.
You made a false statement:
I corrected you. Get over it.
I don't see how it's my problem you don't know how to set up a fuel system on a truck.

Just to be sure about the in tank pump I stopped by the local diesel shop and asked him how good they were on the 98.5-02 trucks and he stated every truck they installed a juice with attitude on with a in tank pump has come back for a fass pump.... because wait what was that.... the in tank pump could not keep up and was dropping below 7psi. But then again you claim that I can't set up a fuel system on my truck last time I checked I had a constant 20psi with the fass I installed.
You are right on one thing, I do come on the forums to read up and see what problems other people have, and how they cure them. Because that is what a forum is for to help people not make the same mistake, or have the problem you did. No I can't say anything about the common rail in tank pump, because I have not dealt with them. My dad had an early 04 and it had a pump on the fuel filter housing that went out. What did we change it out with a fass why because they work. and the 04 did not have a in tank pump.
