i have talked to dave a few times. every time ive called to order something from him, he has went into great detail with me on what my short term and long term plans. he helped me figure out how to get my trans to shift when i swapped a 12v into my 99 dodge, hookin up the lock up switch and overdrive switch. he didnt gain a thing from it, but still spent over all probably 2 hours on the phone back and forth with me. i recomend davs trans over the rest for 2nd gen dodge transmissions.

where in nor cal are you? Local shop for me builds a nice transmission. I have heard great things about dave, but local shops are nice when you have an issues they can see it first hand faster thats all.

so your not far. Whats your plans for the truck. They cold build and install your trans for you and you would have local support. They just did my trans and it picked up 2mpg over what I had before. The old converter was not set proper for my truck. They use spec rite converters. Spec Rite Torque Converters and the shop website is in my signature

i have a Goerend tranny in my truck, the orange and black Dodge 1-ton on his website. i have yet to put the power through it he said it is rated for but it hasn't let me down in the 4 years it has been in my truck. hopefully once i get my motor back together i'll be borderline what it is rated for and i'll give his excellent warranty a run for it's money....
