I bought the pulse with the adrenaline
if you buy the adrenaline make sure you also get the pulse
the adrenaline is awesome but without the pulse you only get half of what you could get out of it.
The pulse allows you to change settings on the tunes to what will run best with your truck

Another user told me its my fan as well. It went away after the truck was really good and warm. SO what is causing it again?
Essentially, cold oil in the fan drive. It works on the theory of expansion and contraction, to the best of my knowledge. As the oil gets hotter, plates expand and allow a solid connection between the pulley and fan hub. Oil cools down, and the connection is broke. BUT, as the oil is cold and thick, it creates a connection due to friction in the oil, not the discs. Fan spins a bit, oil warms up slightly and become more fluid, releasing its bond between the plates.

Yes save for the air dog. I know when i purchased my bd diesel lift pump it said i could support up to 600 hp or something like that.........it might be able to im not sure but i know that if you put a box on your truck it wont be able to keep up with the amount of fuel it requires. with only an exhaust and air intake my fp is 10 at idle and about 6 when i get on it. that is not nearly enough for a fueling box of any kind.

Makes sense with the fan issue. Thank you much.

Alright Air Dog it is. You guys have been helpful. Any other word to the wise before I start beefing up the truck?

Do your shopping on this site with the Request A Quote feature. I have save hundreds upon hundreds of dollars doing it. Only down side is waiting for shipping, but if you can wait, you'll save a lot. I saved $200 on my exhaust alone.

Where would be good place to mount the air dog? Closer to the tank itself or closer to the engine compartment?

Closer to the tank. The design of these pumps, like most electric pumps, is they are a pusher pump. Suction is not there strong point. Mechanical diaphragm pumps are the different, as they suck quite well, but pressure and flow are limited.

im at about the same stage as Cummins602. im pretty new to modifying my truck. im getting ready to purchase a lift pump, but my main question is.... which is better banks six gun tuner or the edge juice? all my buddies talked me into the banks. its cool, i like it but im looking for a little more. as soon as i return home from overseas im going to purhcase 6" stacks and a lift pump. ive also been told that i should get new injectors and a torque converter. do i really need to go that far into it?

It all depends how much your expecting out of your engine. Regardless of how much, you need that lift pump ASAP. Injectors help out a lot. I put some 50's in, and EVERYTHING is better. Mileage, power, start up, and less smoke when cold. As for the TQ, the entire auto transmission in these trucks are weak. TQ may be a place to start, but getting the entire thing built is the best.

I did homework, and still am doing homework. But I started with sending my tranny to Bullydog for rebuild. I got their triple disc converter. Weakest part in a Dodge is the automatic tranny. I put on a 4" turbo back exhaust, opened up all the way. Now going towards lift pump, programmer, and then injectors.
