The smarty is a good programmer and real fun but your money may be a little better spent on an edge comp or quad..wouldn't worry about injectors just yet..but if so 100 hp sticks are plenty on stock charger.. the lift pump and a fuel pressure guage are a must.. we cant stress this enough on here.. We've been there done that.. A must..all in all it depends on ur personal preference from here on

yeah the comp and adrenalines are both good but with tem you have to tap the pump. i think i might get a smarty or jjust get a small towing chip like the quadzilla xzt+.

I am geared towards getting a BD lift pump and the gauge. I have my income tax coming in next couple days so let the fun begin! I hear so much good things about Edge and Quad, how can you justify one or the other? And roughly, what PSI should I be ranging at with the fuel pressure gauge?

3 days ago, I started to drive, and between take off and 30mph, I heard a loud "vacuum" noise coming from inside the engine compartment, and after 30mph, it would go away. Is this my vacuum pump telling me its getting tired? If this is the case, do I have to get a new one, or buy the $59.95 rebuild kit for it? And will this kit work? I would really like to take care of this before major catastrophe happens.
Has this been addressed? The noise could be your fan. The viscous drive is locked up causing the fan to turn faster. Happens in my truck as well. Hope that's whats going on at least, costs less money and time.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT GET THE BD DIESEL LIFT PUMP. once more if i may DO NOT GET THE BD DIESEL LIFT PUMP. it will not support a chip or programmer save up for a raptor or air dog or fass......... im speaking from experience. trust me this pump is nothing more than a stock replacement and a waste of your time and money

Another user told me its my fan as well. It went away after the truck was really good and warm. SO what is causing it again?

01cummins13's, I'm not doubting you at all, just saw it and the numbers seemed to be close as performance as a air dog. What would be the major difference between the two? My buddy has the air dogg and likes it, I just wanted to try somebody else. But now that you mention no BD, I might just stick to getting an air dogg.
