Default Lift Pump

OK, This may be a stupid question but I am still learnin a thing or 2 about the Cummins... I'm a Cummins virgin. I have a FASS 150/150 system on my truck that was on it when I bought it in late December. Does this replace the factory lift pump????? I'm gettin ready to order the fuel pressure gauge to match my boost and pyro but my truck has a new VP44 and I DO NOT want to damage it. Do I need to keep a constant eye on the lift pump or does the FASS take care of that for me?????? Thanks all.

yes, however i would follow the fuel line from the Lift Pump and make sure it goes straight to the VP44 and not to your stock Lift pump and fuel filter located on the engine. that FASS Will put out some serious fuel, with your current setup you should be just fine but deffinetly get some kind of fuel pressure gauge.
Welcome to DB!
