Cheap does not always mean better,just look at how nasty the BDS ones look.
Another thing with them is when you install them they poly bushing is squeezed so hard when you torque the suspension bolts down that it limits any type of suspension articulation at all thus binding up the front end.I have seen it happen with those arms there and when a owner uses the Energy Suspension poly's in the factory arms.
You may gripe all you want about the cost of a set of arms but if you consider the fact that the 4 Ballistic joints that are made to fit in our trucks cost nearly $300 alone,then throw in the cost of the DOM,welding,powder coating,labor and shipping at $700 they are a deal.
I would not run a set of control arms that are unequal length either as all your doing is adding extra caster that can never be removed if needed.I run a set of Titan Machine's arms that are 1/2 longer than stock and could not be happier.I am amazed daily at how well the truck drives and rides because of them.They were installed back in March of last year and have done all I wanted them to do and more.........Andy

So to make a fixed (non adjustable) control arm the proper length, the increased length of the top will not be the same as the bottom. If you increase them both a 1/2" inch, you are going to effectively change the angle of the caster. To properly do it, you will need to figure out, exactly how long the control arm needs to be. Figure out 2 sides of the equations, and work backwards to get all three, then change the variable of lift height and you can figure out your new control arm lengths pretty easily.
Those ballistic fab joints are very nice, and some day I will have a set. But for now, I've been looking at the energy suspension sleeved bushings, hoping that would alleviate some of the problems with over tightening the bushings. They seemed to work really well on my toyota, but thats just in a shackle not a control arm.

Enterprise Engine Performance - Control Arm SET ('94-'02 Dodge) Titan Machine
My upper right bushing (front) is shot. I need to replace it or do something with all four control arms. If I replace the bushing, what one should I get?
