whole injector. Not the cheapest you can find but a decent mid grade injector will work better.

So how did you get 3.73's in a 2nd gen?
I did state all this truck does is tow. I actually know a guy that runs a 150hp injector on the same setup and tows more than this guy. Well he got 3.73s by checking the little box that said 3.73s Ordered it from the Factory with 3.73s. I might have been only a cab and chassis thing though.

ok, only trucks I have seen with 3.73 were the 3rd gens. I don't know how hot his truck is getting but I know 4-5 people that went 110's and a stock turbo and they get hot quick.

i towed just fine with my 125s and quad adr. just turn down the quad depending on the load. and remember you are towing and not racing. some people tow and still try to beat on it

You also have to realize those trucks are prolly running fueling boxs not a timing box like a quad xzt+.

So here's a question: What would the difference be between running say 100hp injectors with and without a timing box??

Thanks, Mike

Without the use of a timing box you will not see as big of a power increase. You will still see some performance gain but you need some type of box or programmer to increase timing.
