Nice write up there Kev!
The Smarty builds alot of power and throttle responce down low, like 1200-1800 rpms. Really wakes the truck up. Great for spooling the turbo. Your clutch will hate you. You are probably a candidate for a Sprung Hub Dual Disc from South Bend (of course). That will hold and hook pretty darned good.
Did you order the Super Stock 62 or the Super Phatshaft 62?
AS for twins, I was thinking the II Race set, its a Super 62 on top of a phat bastard IIRC. The towing twins are an S300G on top of a K31 and those spool real nice.
After you do the clutch, you get a sticker for that nice clean tailgate that says something along the lines of "Rather be Cummin than Strokin"

I got the super phatshaft 62.
And my clutch hates me right now. Im not even gonna bother with it, gonna get the south bend next week installed. Gotta save some money then the studs and o ringgd head.
Should i look into a local machine shop to do the head or send it off to pdr or whoever? I cant have the truck down for very long. A jeep with 39.5s isnt a very reliable method of going to work and back!
