Ok, I am going to clear some stuff up since there is a lot of mis-information here and also some mis-understanding.

I just got a copy of the email that was last sent to us so that is why I am just now responding.

I will start from the top.

so i got out and unplugged the quad box from under the hood and put it on my seat

Scaned it and got P0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance , tried to clear them and they wouldnt clear , im like WTF this MAC Tools scanner ALWAYS clears them even when ACTRONS do not ...

I tried again and no dice they wouldnt clear ..

So i have to send my quad harness and box back to get it repaired
Ok, anytime you have a wiring harness up that breaks the map signal, whether it is ours, TST, EDGE or anyone else AND you unplug the box but, leave it connected, you are going to get a MAP sensor code. The signal is broken completely. This problem has nothing to do with your harness or MAP sensor. This is precisely why it would not clear.

I really cannot believe someone else did not pick up on that to help you out straight off the bat.

it was the MAP connection of the harness as soon as i put my stocker directly in the truck is fine
No, it was a combination of having the wiring harness hooked up and no box hooked to the other end.

They dont want to cover it under warentee because i didnt send in the warentee registration .
That is not true. She is simply trying to verify that you are in warranty EVEN THOUGH you DID NOT send in your warrany card which is a requirement we have in order to get the 1 year warrant. Its not like we hide that, we send a card that takes 30 seconds to fill out and send a pre-paid postage envelope with it. Just like 99% of all the other electronics you buy.

Furthermore, she did not say she was not covering it. She was trying to verify. These things do not have a lifetime warrant. Based on the serial # we know the box is 16 months old. We also know sometimes they sit on shelves and other things so she is asking to verify when it was purchased. Not to mention she told you she is trying to make sure that the return shipping back to you is free. Never has there been a word said about not fixing the box.

I asked for the Fuel Pressure Sender that i have the card for that says mail it in and get a free Fuel Pressure Sender and they said they dont send them out anymore because of there failure rate .
This is further proof that this box is as old as they come. Only the very first shipment was sent with this card in them. After that, the price was dropped and we did not include a FP sending unit with them. We now have a totally different solution.

My guess is that you are not the original purchaser of this box to start with. If you are, why are you waiting 16 months to try and get the FP sending unit? I have not looked but, a sending unit may have already been attached to that serial # as well? I don't know but, I seriously doubt that you are the original owner and waited 16 months to ask for it. If you are, I apologize and I will send you one back.

yep, I've got a stealth 2 thats been with them for 2 months and they want 300 to fix it. whats up with that???
I am sure there is more to that story as well. We do not just charge for stuff. It is a pain in the rear. Your tuner is either really old, really damaged or vin locked to a different vin than you want to install it on is my guess?

But that seems like really lame customer service, that alone would keep me from buying one.
Surely by now you guys know that there are 2 sides to every story? These internet forums are great for good info, BS info and people trying to leverage against manufacturers. That is pretty much all you will see on any forums any more. I am one of the only manufacturers that gets on forums, answers questions, and offers help in addition to our regular support and service. Not to mention everything we sel is USB updatable so there is no need to send stuff in 98% of the time. How is that bad customer service? Matter of fact, do some searched on other sites and see how our customer service is rated.

when i left the psot office from mailing the quad back , my truck did it again !
So after calling us out, raising cain and emails with demands and it is not the Adrenaline afterall? That is what you call irony.

typical quadzilla and the typical of the ADR, hints why i hate that thing
I guess that is why people are selling the stuff on their current trucks and replacing it with the Adrenaline. That has to be the most ridiculous post I have seen in this thread.

Not to mention the original poster (the "owner") just told you in the post above yours that the truck is still having the problem and the Adrenaline AND wiring harness are in a box.

That says a lot about you right there.

Also, if ayone doubts what my tech said, I have the string of emails I will be happy to post up.

Long story short, warranty is good for 1 year, just like everyone else. You didn't send a warranty card in, so she simply asked for a proof of purchase to try and help you out but, instead just giving it to her you decided to take the bashing road? Now it was not the Adrenaline at all even though you blamed it on the Adrenaline.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

Ouch. Talk about throwin your customers and vendors under a bus here. Would have looked much better for your company had you come on here and played nice guy and just stated your side of the story without accusing your own vendors and customers both a fraud.

I don't pretend to know electronics so I can't even begin to debate the subject matter with you at all, what I can say with all certainty though is that I have unplugged my Comp box many times for weeks at a time and never got any codes or any fallout problems from it. Don't know what the difference is but it is.

As far as fillin out those cards and sendin em in, I can say in all honesty I have thrown every one of em away I have ever gotten in any product my entire adult life and never had a warranty issue as a result. If they don't have a record of the sale themselves I provide a copy of my receipt from there authorized seller and they fix it, never been an issue.

For better or worse Quad has always had a bad reputation for not honoring warranties and shall we say not so good customer service. Been on the various boards for over ten years now and that has been the general consensus the entire time. If you do a search for your products in these sections you will find discussion about that when the Adrenaline first came out but everybody was hopin that this was the miracle product that was gonna turn things around for the company. You were being given the benefit of the doubt.

wtf who the hell are you
either you just started at quad or have no clue about any thing with the adrenaline
first there is no envelope to send back the warranty card or at least none with mine
OH MY GOD you didn`t just say search to see how our customer service is rated
now that right there is some funny buddy
quadzilla customer service is the all right it is so I wouldn`t even call it service
more of a big waste of time
now you are getting even funnier with the 0ne year warranty
I did the warranty dance with ya over the fuel pressure sender
I paid the extra $90 to get it when i first bought it, got another peice of **** sent to me and they both failed, then ya came out with the new and improved one and told me pay more for what I paid to have to begin with and maybe it will work
now that was some warranty there I tell ya
I did actually pay for the upgraded wiring harness so the person that bought it from me when I wrecked my truck wouldn`t have to deal with it
but since quadzilla and the adrenaline have such a good reputation and good customer service I sold it for less then half what I had in it.
this site is not like others where you pay to have protection from the moderators.
the venders and manufacturers have to stand behind the products they make and sell
I was still thinking about getting an adrenaline for the 06 I bought to replace the old one but since quadzzila seems to be the same as always quad can just pucker up and kiss my

The sqeaky wheel always gets the grease , Thanks for your attention to this matter quad., and i have stated in this thread that my truck is still acting up with out the quad and i sent you an email asking for just the firmware upgrade so update my box and send it back to me and were good.

as "owner" of this site i take some responsibillity for the promotion of products to the membership . and i voice my opinions the same as anyone else would .

ive had just about every programmer on the market and i was hoping the quad was not the same song and dance....i was wrong once every month or so it just forgets whats going on and goes blank , all you have to do is reflash it with the same program and it works again for a while , thats alot better than having to send it back and get a new one each time like past programmers i have had . the adrenaline monitor is about 10 years old tech... look at the Banks PDA now thats the 20th century !

I do like the power gain and the quad keeps my EGT's down because the engine is not lugging and it also keeps the truck in lock up which i really like , also the quad is the only programmer i have had that didnt mess up the cruise control .

the quad has a problem coming out of high idle .... if your setting at a traffic light and it goes to high idle you cant just give it throttle and go , it has a hickup kicking out of high idle and it does in in the intersection , hopefully the firmware update will fix this .

as for the comments in this thread , everything about my truck and most of my life is on here , usually as its happening so when im upset it shows on my posts i hide nothing .

the lady on the phone was very nice and yes i was disappointed when she said i would have to pay for the fix (if it was broken) because in my past experiance the company has always just replaced it with the newest model no questions asked .

And your right its one of the first boxes that came out ...because i got it when it first came out , a long time customer ! and i was looking for the warentee card and found the FP sender card , I didnt send in because i already have a fuel pressure gauge in my truck and i figured if its going to cost me $75 to get my box fixed then im going to pull trump and demand my FP sender that i know you dont ship anymore but I do have a card saying i have a free one with no date on it saying when i have to send it in by . So if the harness is bad replace it charge me $75 and send me the FP sender so i can sell it and recoup my $$$ .

When it comes to upholding ones end of the bargin , I want my FP sender and you want your warentee card .

Or you can just update my firmware because i think thats all it needs now that my truck is still doing the same thing with out it ( i dont really want the FP sender anyway) and send me my box back , i already know im paying shipping.

I can get you and invoice saying i bought it yesterday or any of the last 365 days if you want .

But i didnt , im not sure when i bought it but im sure a search here will show when i got it on my truck .

in closing thanks for your visit , and the problems with my truck are not from the quadzilla , so please update my firmware and send me my box back

Thanks
