Fass install.........fuel leak at tank
#21
Moving or not would affect it, no. I would wipe it all dry and let the truck idle for a few minutes. Check under there and see if it is wet. If it is then you have a fitting someplace leaking. If it is still dry after idling then drive it a few miles and check again. If it's only wet after driving it is either a very slow leak that looks bigger then it is or the tank itself is leaking. There are some things that could prove this all wrong but this will track down almost all the possibilties.

If you didn't change the return line fitting also, I'm still bettin on the new suction line fitting is not sealed though. So keep feeling down the metal part of the suction tube to see if it is wet while your doin this. You can also use talc powder or flour to check this. Just sort of dust the module area and rive it a few miles, your leak will show right up.

Some times in all the pullin and pushin they will crack open if they are aready rusted and in bad shape, and many are.

What you are seeing is the left over fuel from your old fuel filter running back the stock fuel line you disconected when you put the fass system in it. Drain your old fuel filter bowl and I bet your problem will go away. You still have fuel in there and with the line open on both ends it is going to move when you drive the truck and look for a place to escape. Unless you cracked the fitting replacing the pickup line(which I doubt) that is your only problem.

Gotta ya now, this thread is confusing me. If his system was like my performer all he had to do was push the plastic clip and remove the old pickup line, then install the new pickup line on the hose. I didnt trust that fitting sitting in the hose so I put a hose clamp around it and snugged it up a little.
